The four barrels mounted at the V-shaped main plate is mounted in two adjacent pairs on ball bearings. They are angled at +/-13° which is inspired by the engine in a Formula 1 car. What sets the Monaco V4 apart is that the belt transmission and linear weight moves on a straight rail instead of the usual rotational movement, something TAG Heuer of course have patented.
Every detail counts and the satin-finished hands have titanium carbide coating and is topped of with grey SuperLuminova for great visibility in the dark.
